The Maarten Van Severen Foundation issues certificates with which owners can prove the authenticity of their Maarten Van Severen furniture. At the request of the owner the foundation will examine an item to ascertain its authenticity, where applicable in consultation with a specialist.
The certificate includes a brief description and one or more photos of the object. The owner’s name is also included on it. The certificate is signed by the chairman and a member of the Board of Directors of the Foundation. A certificate costs 250 euros, excluding possible travel expenses.
