Successful first year for the MVS Chair

It has been a tremendously successful first year for the Maarten Van Severen Chair, which is organised in conjunction with KASK/School of Arts Ghent and Design Museum Ghent. The French designer Erwan Bouroullec gave two lectures – one for the public about his own work and one in the smaller Cirque auditorium in KASK, where he linked his work to that of Maarten Van Severen. He subsequently also gave a three-day Master class on the theme of Into the Wild for fourteen students, including eight external students (from ENSAV/La Cambre, Design Academy Eindhoven, Aalto University and the University of the Arts Berlin).
