The American furniture showroom Luminaire is paying tribute to Maarten Van Severen on its
website on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of his death. Luminaire was established in 1973 by Nasir Kassamali and his wife, Nargis. The Kassamalis and Maarten Van Severen became good friends. They invited Van Severen to give a lecture in Chicago in 2001 and the showroom still carries his furniture line.
